This facility will operate 24/7 and the work schedule for this position will consist of 12-hour shifts.

The Sazerac Company, established in 1850, is a leading North American spirits supplier, and owner of many of the industry’s most venerable distilling companies – Buffalo Trace Distillery, Barton 1792 Distillery, The Glenmore Distillery, and A. Smith Bowman Distillery. In 2014, Sazerac was awarded one of the spirits industry’s highest honors – Distiller of the Year by the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

The Bottling Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Operating and maintenance of the bottle filler and capper, uncasing process, and/or case packing operation.

  • Safely operating and servicing the equipment.

  • Troubleshoot problems.

  • Changeover equipment.

  • Perform quality checks and maintenance tasks.

  • Give guidance on safety, quality, and operations to temporary employees who will be assisting in the area.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Two years relevant experience.

  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance

  • Good physical health. For example; capable of working on your feet, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling and squatting.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

  • Good vision and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to operate industrial equipment as required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.

  • Apprenticeship programs, technical school or Associates Degree.

  • Two years previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
