The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 12-month intensive fixed duration (FDE) professional development program during which the apprentice receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Lilly is seeking a Talent Acquisition Apprentice who shares our passion to making life better for people around the world. As part of a our Talent Acquisition team, you will work closely with our recruiters and talent sourcers playing an integral part in shaping Lilly’s future by identifying and attracting talent to the company.
With coaching and feedback, Lilly provides you the ability to further your growth as a HR professional within the organization.
Develop knowledge of the business strategy, culture and deliverables
Improve upon existing practices and help to develop innovative strategies to attract diverse talent to the organization
Partner with campus recruiters and diversity talent sourcers with the development and implementation of sourcing plans
Proactively identify opportunities for improving candidate experience
Seek opportunities for process improvement without sacrificing candidate experience
Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Generate candidate interest through recruitment marketing and social media messaging to find, attract, engage with active and passive candidates.
HS Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience.
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
At least 1 year of college and/or associate degree in a related field.
Experience, knowledge and desire to work in Human Resources / Pharma / Healthcare
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
Learning agility and self-management skills
Candidate sourcing experience including internet research, search engines, Boolean search strings and data mining
Comfortable with the time investment in proactive strategic relationship building efforts and stakeholder management
Strong research and analytical skills
