GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Distributor Development and Programs to join our Residential HVAC sales organization. This position is responsible for the development, execution and management of sales growth strategies, in the areas of new business, dealer recruiting and conversion, market and program development through the Carrier, Bryant, Payne sales channel. The Specialist, Distributor Development and Programs will work to increase new business and market share through dealer conversions via strategic collaborations with the Product and Brand Marketing Leaders, Regional Sales Managers and our distribution network. This position plays a critical role in driving engagement from all channel partners, while facilitating all activities related to new business conversions and market development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and drive Carrier, Bryant, Payne share growth strategies via dealer conversions and new business acquisition with Product and Brand Marketing, Pricing & Regional Sales Managers and distribution sales leadership to increase market share

  • Engage Carrier Enterprise and Carrier’s salesforce to create programs aimed to compete against each competitor across all markets in CE’s footprint

  • Lead the effort to create and implement recruiting and retention programs, and the analysis after each selling season

  • Facilitate and manage new business activities (i.e. market blitzes, recruiting events and target development)

  • Evaluate and deliver feedback regarding program usage and effectiveness, along with analyzing the market funds consumed by CE

  • Develop product and marketing presentations as needed to support all recruiting events and activities

  • Evaluate sales and marketing analytics to identify risks and develop opportunities for growth and increased market share

  • Build consultative relationships and trust with distribution, Strategic Accounts, Regional Sales Managers, pricing and marketing

Qualification:

  • Four years of sales experience working with and/or selling to distributors and proven ability to meet consumer and customer requirements

  • Four years of sales experience in HVAC or related industry in professional positions with increasing responsibility

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing and product insights with strong customer service focus

  • Proven history of rapid sales growth with satisfied customers

  • Thorough understanding of market place dynamics, industry trends and assessment of key competitor programs

  • Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to gather data from multiple sources and synthesize in concise presentations so it is easily understood by the target audience

  • Superior follow-through skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and meet dynamic deadlines

  • Good business and financial acumen

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ experience

  • Master's/BMS degree with 3+ years’ experience
