That’s where you come in. The team that you will be joining, Service Offering Management, is a new function, focused on creating high value services that solve those complex business needs. You will be a catalyst and focal point in the global Consulting organization, collaborating with product, sales, marketing, enablement, delivery, operations, to orchestrate cross-functional activities to design offers that deliver tangible value for clients and partners.You will be at the front end of the service offering, marketing, and enablement team which is chartered to get the service offers right, launch and market the service offers, and enable the field. You will launch this service offering team to develop and drive adoption of our service portfolio in the market and thus improve the quality of our client solutions

We’re looking to hire an experienced Head of Service Portfolio Management to join a new team as part of the services strategy and operations organization, to identify, create, structure, and communicate services that make customers successful. In a relentless XaaS market requiring corporations to be “customer-centric”, this role will be at the forefront of understanding client business challenges, unlocking value, developing the right offerings for target clients and partners, and delivering meaningful business outcomes.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Drive the consulting services portfolio strategy and service development lifecycle (overall design, development and maturing of the offerings) across all portfolios. This includes identifying service whitespace, budget management, demand generation, field readiness, and maintenance and decommissioning of services in their portfolio

  • Ensure high quality and completeness of offerings; conduct portfolio analysis to ensure offerings meet addressable markets by analyzing market opportunities, delivery capabilities, industry research, competitive data and voice of the customer

  • Rationalize existing service portfolio, standardize across the product portfolio, package into engagements wherever useful, create a continuum and eliminate overlap in offers and internal competition, and ensure consistent global delivery to support clients and partners

  • Build action plans and make strategic as well as operational decisions on policies, tactics, resources – delivering against Pega Consulting strategy and policies

  • Develop cohesive pricing strategy and articulate the financial probability of service offers

  • Measure portfolio performance, adoption, and financial success of offerings, driving enhancements and portfolio evolution as appropriate

  • Ensure operations and delivery teams can fulfill demand and provide service capabilities defined in the offering

  • Drive enablement strategy and execution to support the positioning, selling, and delivery of the services in the marketplace

  • Manage a central repository of intellectual assets

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned technology services professional who has a proven track record of management and leadership designing and implementing best in class practices for lifecycle service offering management. You have ability work across the organization, influence without authority, manage and expand relationships, and operate at both a strategic and tactical level.

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred, MBA a plus

  • Minimum 12-15+ years’ service management experience with successful and progressive track record of accomplishment, leadership, and increasing responsibility

  • Proven track record of management and leadership designing and implementing best in class practices for lifecycle management of services solutions

  • Proven success in dealing with business leaders on all levels and able to manage effectively within a matrix organizational structure

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Project management experience is an advantage.

  • Adept business knowledge across all service disciplines (e.g., support, consulting, education and managing the matrix)

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written, verbal, and editorial skills

  • Experience in Knowledge Management concepts

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, tenacity, drive, proactive, create, sound planning and organizational abilities, strong improvement focus,

  • Comfortable in a global, fast-evolving, fast-paced always-on, highly matrixed environment with limited resource

  • Experience as people manager or team lead for at least 2+ years, and ability to manage virtual global teams

  • Proven track record of management and leadership designing and implementing best in class practices for lifecycle management of services solutions
