The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 12-month intensive fixed duration (FDE) professional development program during which the apprentice receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Join the Global Service Learning and Development (GSLD) team in Global Learning & Development. Our team manages training for multiple enterprise-wide Global Services business areas. As a Global Services Learning and Development Apprentice, you will provide consultative support on learning needs and programs, custom learning content development, learning plan management including assignment, and reporting/analysis.

Responsibilities:

Support GSLD efforts as assigned in the following areas:

  • Collaborate and complete tasks as needed with business areas on learning services related topics such as:

  • Learning plans, training assignment, libraries and subject areas

  • Courses and curricula

  • Learning processes

  • Projects/large scale transaction requests

  • Use of learning systems functionality to meet business needs

  • Use of data for audit response

  • Support testing of global, multi-lingual computer-based training

  • Manage periodic review processes for courses, curricula, and learning plans

  • Direct areas supported to use GLS support model for issue resolution and support materials for education/guidance; Where needed, connect business areas with other SMEs and/or Service Managers to provide support

Continuous Improvement Projects/Additional Work

  • Collaborate with business area Learning & Development, fellow GSLD team members, internal partners and external suppliers as appropriate to initiate and execute continuous improvement projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Preferences:

  • At least 1 year of college and/or associate degree in a related field

  • 1-3 years experience with learning & development data/information & related business processes/systems

  • Experience with LMS and/or SuccessFactors and learning technologies

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Positive attitude

  • Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills and attention to detail

  • Learning agility and self-management skills

  • Meaningful experience in data stewardship
