The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 12-month intensive fixed duration (FDE) professional development program during which the apprentice receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Lilly is seeking an Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Operations Apprentice who shares our passion for driving the integration of high performance with high integrity, enabling Lilly to WIN WITH INTEGRITY. The purpose of the E&C Operations Apprentice is to support and develop the technical tools used to help assure E&C Monitoring, Policies and Procedures, Training, and Investigation work, completed by global Ethics & Compliance Officers, is centrally captured, governed, and communicated to partners. The E&C Operations Apprentice will engage with Information and Digital Solutions (IT) personnel and the E&C Global Operations Consultant to maintain and improve systems, find opportunities for different technology approaches, and drive innovative solutions that simplify work while allowing E&C Officers to better prioritize, all with a mind toward effective data quality. With coaching and feedback, Lilly will provide you the ability to further your growth as a professional within the organization.
Support E&C Global Operations Consultant in administering and maintaining current and future IDS-developed tools and technologies uses to support global E&C.
Monitor existing/developed business system solutions to identify potential issues and respond to requests.
Support the E&C Data Analytics organization by adhering to high standards of data quality and governance, driving toward structured data consolidation wherever appropriate.
Champion novel use of IT systems to manage and liaise with internal experts to ensure delivery of solutions.
Build relationships with broad team of experienced business partners and stakeholders across global E&C and IDS, including Lilly employees and external contractors in USA, Ireland, and India.
Help support the IDS infrastructure for Global Ethics and Compliance Operations in implementing the appropriate security, building new capabilities, and retiring systems in accordance with records management requirements.
Basic Qualifications :
HS Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience. College-degree seeking.
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Skills/Preferences :
At least 1 year of college and/or associate degree in a related field.
Experience with one or more of the following technical platforms: SalesForce, Tableau, Power BI, Heroku, Amazon Web Services (AWS), TrackWise, Contentful, Veeva Quality Docs, Documentum (D2).
Experience with complex IT classroom or business projects and the ability to drive to a successful outcome.
Understanding of evolving IT industry trends and standards
Experience within a regulated industry
Experience with project management, timelines, and task management
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment, both in person and remote
Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
Learning agility and self-management skills
Strong technical interest and analytical skills
