The Contracts Coordinator, what we call Deal Desk Coordinator, is responsible for supporting our Sales team through creating, reviewing, and verifying details around negotiated agreements. This Coordinator will support the deal process by receiving pre-approval from internal teams concerning orders and pricing; providing account management support; and responding to internal and external email and phone inquiries. Successful candidates in this role will have issue identification and resolution experience, order fulfillment knowledge and have an extremely high bar for customer service.

Some of the things you'll be doing include…

  • Review and verify incoming deals for accuracy, including but not limited to: confirming contract terms, contact and billing information, pricing, business policies, existing legal agreements/pre-existing terms, promotions and PO T&C.

  • Work with Strategic Sales team, Management, Legal and Accounting to ensure negotiated deals are documented properly and in alignment with Tableau’s policies.

  • Work with Sales Management, Finance, Legal, Development and Customer Operations teams to create deal term sheets for approvals and determine best action for fulfillment issues.

  • Create quotes, schedules and amendments that reflect product upgrades, maintenance renewals, and add-ons which may include cumulative discounting structures – you will become the subject matter expert on the nuances of Strategic/Enterprise level customer accounts.

  • Operate as an escalation point to business partners for quote-to-cash operations and ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.

  • Help coordinate system tie-outs and delivery timing details for revenue recognition with Services, Accounting and Customer Service teams.

Who you are…
